Chairman PKSC Raja Sikander Khan Mourns the Loss of Renowned Leader Prof. Nazir Ahmed Shawl

In a heartfelt expression of sorrow, Raja Sikander Khan, Chairman of Pakistan & Kashmiri outfit, and representative of the diaspora, as well as the think tank Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council, conveyed his deepest condolences on the passing of Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl. Speaking about the departed leader, Raja Sikander emphasized his profound respect, describing Prof. Nazir Shawl as a highly educated intellectual, a remarkable human being, a cherished friend, and an influential mentor.

Recalling their shared experiences, Raja Sikander Khan reminisced about the various platforms and stages where he and Prof. Nazir Shawl collaborated. Notably, the two attended the United Nations Human Rights 39th Session in Geneva in September 2018, where their camaraderie strengthened. They not only traveled together but also shared accommodations, attending sessions side by side. Reflecting on the impact of their journey together, Raja Sikander expressed gratitude for the wisdom and motivation he gained from Prof. Nazir Shawl, particularly in matters concerning the Kashmir cause. The Chairman praised the deceased leader for acknowledging and commending the activities of the Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council.

Raja Sikander Khan prayed for the departed soul, invoking Almighty ALLAH’s blessings for Prof. Nazir Shawl’s eternal peace in Jannat Ul Firdoas. He extended his thoughts to the grieving family and loved ones, urging them to find patience in the face of this significant loss. Recognizing Prof. Nazir Shawl as a great leader and a trailblazer in the Kashmir Movement, Raja Sikander Khan remarked that his legacy would transcend borders, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew him.
