Islamabad (Asgar Hayat) – Istekham-E-Pakistan Party has initiated political activities in Azad Kashmir, marking a significant development in the region. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, in a grand show of strength, has stirred political dynamics in Azad Kashmir, creating a political buzz across the region. The inaugural meeting of Pakistan People’s Party in the region not only saw substantial public participation from all over Azad Kashmir but also witnessed the active involvement of elected local body representatives from all ten districts of Azad Kashmir. Political analysts suggest that Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has orchestrated a significant power play in Azad Kashmir.
In the first formal gathering of Istekham-E-Pakistan Party, not only did masses from all over Azad Kashmir participate in large numbers, but municipal representatives from all ten districts of Azad Kashmir also took part. Political insiders claim that Sardar Tanveer Ilyas was removed from the position of Prime Minister through an orchestrated move and was declared ineligible from his constituency. The overwhelming support of the people stands with him, and expressions of solidarity from a large section of the population are evident.
Sardar Tanveer Ilyas made history in Azad Kashmir by conducting local bodies elections after a gap of 31 years. He was in the process of empowering municipal representatives by formulating a program, when he was removed them from power. However, the newly appointed Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudary Anwar Ul Haq has categorically rejected empowering municipal representatives. As a result, a significant number of municipal representatives have rallied behind Sardar Tanveer Ilyas.
Political circles argue that the grand show of strength by Istekham-E-Pakistan Party has instilled fear in political parties in Azad Kashmir. The significant power play has made it clear that Sardar Tanveer Elias enjoys robust support from the public, and he is poised to shape the future of politics in Azad Kashmir.
